Project Decsription

This unique property is located in Romeoville, Illinois and is minutes from I-55. It has a protected pond / wetland to the South that creates stunning views from the proposed home's open plan living areas and bedrooms.

  • Standard poured concrete foundation with 2" rigid insulation on the outside as well as under the basement and crawlspace slabs.
  • 2 x 6 @ 24" oc walls with structural insulated sheathing on the outside and 2 inches of closed cell foam in the cavity with the rest of the space filled with a fiberglass batt. [Plans show walls as 12 inches thick just in case a potential buyer would prefer another wall construction type.]
