Ms. Blissard holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in architecture from the University of Illinois and has built a successful +19-year practice in the design and construction of buildings and interiors. She is also a licensed architect in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan with the potential for licensure in every state except California via the NCARB designation.
Currently the Past-Chair of the Chicago Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and its Residential Green Building Advocate, Laureen primarily serves in the role of project architect/designer and LEED consultant in addition to directing the vision and philosophy of the organization. Her experience as director of architectural services for a real estate firm and senior associate at an architecture firm are crucial in the success of both the project outcomes and the operation of the organization.
Active projects include LEED for Homes collaborations with local Habitat for Humanity Chapters, Papageorge-Haymes, and Hancock+Hancock. |
